Money, Money, Money and the lack of chips

When questioned about the impact of the pandemic on the lack of chips, Jorge Sá Couto recalls that "maybe we went back a little before the pandemic and there were already supply constraints for some chips.

This is not a simple situation and it will take time to recover. "We are expected to get back to normal from the middle of next year (...) what is missing the most are the entry-level components. The mid-range and high-end components are still there because they are more profitable for the manufacturer."

For this return to normality it is important to take into consideration the development of sustainable alternatives, especially alternatives that allow us to "decrease dependence on other continents."
